Show Us Your Stuff June Challenge

I am trying out the Show us Your Stuff Challenge for June this month at the last minute.

I chose yellow and orange for my colours. They are just so bright and fun. Happy colours.

The handmade items included on my layout are two flair buttons from Funky Flair Studio and a sweet orange heart from Charms Creations.  I also included some hand dyed crochet doilies.

I love colour challenges like this for stash busting my ever growing scrap container. The papers I have used include Sassafrass, Amy Tangerine, 7 Gypsies, Shimelle and Simple Stories. I added some interest to the background with Studio Calico spray in orange and Dylusions Spray in yellow together with some random stamping with black archival ink.

Happy Scrapping

June Kraft Plus Challenge

The month of June features a pretty cool challenge at Kraft Plus challenges: Kraft plus one other colour of your choice.

Being a Mumma of four boys the obvious choice for me was blue.

I used the gorgeous You Rock collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studios (part of my amazingly generous prize from Scrapbooking Delights last month).

Love these pics of my little guy in his big brother's hat. He thought he was very cool.

The kraft patterned paper I have used was from the Basic Gray Basics collection back in 2009 (eek).

Have you entered the challenge this month?

June White with One Challenge

Hi guys,

This month at White with 1 the colour of choice is Teal Sequins. So pretty...but surprisingly hard to find in my stash. I may have to remedy that serious deficiency.

This month we also have sketch to get us started:

Here is my page:

I have used Teal paint from Dylusions through a chevron stencil for my background and then added some bits and pieces from Flutterby Designs.

June Scrap the Boys Challenge

Hi Scrappers,

Over at the Scrap the Boys Blog this month they have a great colour challenge

I loved this colour combo. It is just so bright, fresh and fun.

Here is my take on the challenge

Love this photo of my boys with me back in 2013. Wow time really does fly. Must be time for another New Zealand adventure.

I have used the You Rock collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studios. The colours were just perfect for this challenge. The only other extras were a black and white text tag from American Crafts and a small cork heart.

Boys will be Boys

Hi scrapbookers,

The Facebook event Rediscover your Stash 40 days of no spending hosted by Sara Scraps and Khristina Sorge has had some amazing challenges over the last month. One was this great sketch from Page Maps.

And here is my version of the sketch.

I still have to add my journaling on the notebook paper when I find my notes. I obviously put them somewhere very special.
The layout features the You Rock collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.
Cocoa Vanilla's You Rock collection has to be one of my all time favourite collections. It is just so versatile.
The only items not from Cocoa Vanilla were the wood veneer stars from Flutterby Designs and the chipboard play sticker from Me and My Big ideas.

I wouldn't normally scrap on the diagonal like this but I am really happy with how the layout turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Miss Rosy - June Kaisercraft Blog Challenge

Hello everyone,

This months challenge at the Kaisercraft Blog is to use circles (and 80% Kaisercraft product) so since I love circular designs and I had some new Kaisercraft goodies with their cute pet line Pawsome I decided to join in the fun.

I created a circle shape with splashes of white mist to start and then layered punched circles, hearts and diecut pieces from the Collectibles. I layered my photo mat on a kraft tag and added some pops of pink from the Kaisercraft Happy Snaps line. Since I have four boys, when I get a chance to scrap two of my girl dogs I like to make it a little girly. The final touches were some enamel dots and a supercute bone shaped paperclip that has been in my stash forever.

Here is a closer look at some of the cute diecuts

That little pup just reminded me of Miss Rosy so much it was the start of the whole page.

And how gorgeous is that woodgrain background paper. I think I will need extras of that sheet.

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping.
